<what i do>

I develop software to solve problems, automate tasks, or to learn something new. Most of my projects are started due to wanting to replace some subscription service with a self-hosted alternative. It's not fast or easy, but it's often a great learning experience.

You can read more about my skills and projects on the about page.

I started coding in high school, during a course where I got to try out Unity development. At first it felt like writing nonsense, but during my final project it clicked, and I started to fall in love with it.

From there I explored AI, data science, Linux, and web development. It was around this time that I decided to build orahem.com as a passion project.

Now I'm focusing on learning programming fundamentals, strengthening my mathematical foundation, and building solid problem-solving skills.

Outside of school I'll usually spend my time building out my home lab, checking out technology trends, and experimenting with new tools and systems.
